My own journey has taught me that. At just 17, I experienced a traumatic event that would forever change my life. I was shot four times with an AK-47 by a stranger. Physically, it took years to recover and mentally the path has taken even longer. That experience along with my career in nursing opened my eyes to the complexities of trauma, the impact it has on our mental health, and our abilities as humans to be resilient. I have always wanted to help others, and inspired to make a difference in the world I became a registered nurse and later, a nurse practitioner. I still felt something was missing in how I was able to help others.

That’s why I became a health coach. I wanted to empower people like me—those who feel limited by trauma or overwhelmed by life’s challenges—to regain control, overcome self-doubt, and rise without relying on a “magic pill.” I know what it feels like to struggle and, more importantly, to overcome. I’m here to guide you on that same path to healing, strength, and freedom.
